As you all know, I haven't been doing so well medically. Things got really scary for me, however I am not out of the burning landscape yet. I want to thank everyone for their help in buying my art. The little that I received made a difference. I would like to extend it for all those that are interested. Like mentioned before, I am still struggling. O ... M ... G ... Big Bang has been pumping my fan-girl engines into overdrive this month. Their 3 new songs are just amazing. It really is nice to see the whole group together again after the problems they faced as of recently.

Alright so my new job is working at a Hostel in Edmonton! It's a wikked sweet job. Everyone is so nice and the atmosphere is amazing. So I'm not sure who out there is addicted to energy drinks and juice like I am but they can get so expensive, make your heart race or taste just plain nasty right? For me, I used to be big into Rockstar for the taste but they would make my heart race like crazy, so I got into 5 hour energy. Pardon my language but that stuff tastes like essence of ass after a jail community shower. Plus the prices on them are enough to make a person homeless, not to mention the health risks. And its hard to find health juice that has no added sugar and tastes like it should. Until I got my hands on XS and Nutrilite. Cheaper, better for you, shipped to your house and so many different flavors (more flavors in the USA unfortunately for everyone else)! Check it out for yourself~ Best Stuff In The World

Sketch 68 - Kang DaeSung

Daesung . . . what have you gotten yourself into? I have been following the story of his recent car accident to which someone has died. There are so many rumors going around and news stories twisting things before official ruling has been made. As it stands from what I understand is that Daesung was driving at 1:30 am when coming over a hill he ran over a previously fallen motorcyclist and crashed into the back of a taxi that had stopped to help the victim. The taxi driver has released a Q and A to which he explains that Daesung may be wrongfully charged and is being blamed for everything.

As for work today. What is with the wind this year? Seriously. Like tornado strong winds enough to blow me off my feet which almost happened several times today. Surprised Margaret wasn't carried off with how small she is. I ended up with further sunburns on my hands, a spider bite on my ankle, scratched eyes from the dirt, bloody nose from blowing out mud and powdered cement in my hair which is VERY hard to get out. Also blisters on my hands from trying to keep my stop sign pointing towards on-coming traffic and flying either out of my hands or into my face more then it had already. Hopefully it will rain and help with the dust and calm the wind down a bit.

Sketch 62 - FLuffeeTalks

Canadian comedian FLuffeeTalks is a vlogger who turns his vlogging into a show like Ray. Although unlike Ray, FLuffee talks about obscure news and viral videos. I would definitely say this is NOT for kids. Some of the news topics are a bit disturbing for younger viewers so yeah . . . Other then that he is frikken hilarious and I love his videos. On top of that he's not bad on the eyes ^_' If your reading this Fluffee I'm a huge fan from Edmonton!

Alright today I update the music of the week tab. Usually its only one song to maybe two but today will be 4! I just can't decide! Two will be k-pop, one English k-pop and one T-pop.

The two kpop ones are for SiStar씨스타19 - MaBoy and the new group Swincle (스윙클) - Shake Ur Body. SiStar's song and video . . . wholy cow those girls can move. Their dance is so hypnotic and sexy in a very innocent way. The new group Swincle . . . at first I was all like "uhhg new girl group" then the music actually started and I was pulled in. The song is so catchy and I am a new fan! Great vocals and the girls are gorgeous and not too thin. Definitely give them a go!

The English kpop song is from missA. Now Its hit and miss with me and this group. I loved their hit songs Good Girl Bad Girl and Breathe but the rest suck . . . until this song. They released a full English song and it's really good! For only 2 of them being semi-fluent in English their pronunciation is amazing. The song is really catchy and the lyrics actually make sense.

The Tpop song. For those that don't know what Tpop stands for, it is Taiwanese pop music. Sorta started getting into a few artists awhile back, but recently I fell for Min. Now I am not sure exactly how old this boy is (maybe 10-14?) but he is so ADORABLE. P.O.I. is featured as well and his debut song Connect is so good. I love it and can't wait for more from him. Also been getting into a group called KOTIC that are pretty good as well.

Sketch 51 - Simon, Martina and Spudgy

Simon, Martina and Spudgy from Eat Your Kimchi. I have been loving their videos. Such an amazing couple. They are Canadians who moved to Korea to teach and vloged about it every day. To me they are such an inspiration. I actually have my TESOL certificates and tried to teach in Japan. However I got turned down for all the paid teaching jobs in Japan because I had no experience and or early childhood development certification. Outside of their jobs I just love watching their videos. Martina and Simon have such wonderful personalities and make an amazing couple. Spudgy the dog is adorable in an odd way haha! Also very jealous because they got to meet almost all of my favorite kpop stars including BigBang. Man if it was me I would glomp Daesung!

So today is just the line work. Its a huge piece but I have some of the color done already so to finish for tomorrow's blog will be fast (hoping). I'm actually really proud of this. For a sketchier full sized picture it turned out great...except for Spudgy because I suck at drawing animals (forgive me!)

In other news, I'm getting nervous for Thursday. I've been getting more frequent pains in my side and its getting harder to do things without writhing in pain on the floor. It's starting to scare me and honestly I'm scared to find out exactly what it is and what the outcome and treatments will include. I have a lot planned for my future ...

Sketch 49 - You Wish...

... you were this pretty! I love Siberian tigers. They are amazing creatures. I was hoping to hear back from a couple I have recently fell in love with  so I could draw their picture for today but maybe it will be for tomorrow. Mind you I really shouldn't get my hopes up because they are so popular that they met almost all my favorite kpop idols (~jealous~).

Today I basically did some translations and relaxed while watching the you tube videos of the couple listed above. Also got some laundry done. Actually while typing this Richard was looking at the TRON and Daft Punk headphones that just came out by Monster. Man they look so cool! I wouldn't mind a pair (and same for him) when we can get our finances in order/ goals achieved lol.

So big news in Canada. Tomorrow (which actually in the time of posting this is today) is our Federal elections. This should be big news but really isn't to most. I'm not sure who I'm gonna vote for. Definitely not the liberals but I'm torn between the Conservatives and the NDP.  The NDP or New Democratic Party offers change but said change usually consists of raising taxes to help pay for it while the conservatives are basically just gonna work to improve what we already have. Now the way an election is won in Canada is strange. You don't necessarily win by the amount of votes. In federal elections, Canadians vote for members of parliament. The leader of the party with the most members elected (there are 308 seats) then becomes the prime minister. The current Conservative minority government has 143 seats and is headed by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Since we do not directly elect the prime minister, Canadians must consider the impact of our votes on multiple levels. It doesn’t take a majority to rule or to win an election in Canada. If you’ve got six candidates running, you don’t need 50 percent of the vote to win. Simply the one who has the highest percentage wins. In doing so our elections tend to take less time and are more fluid then presidential elections in the states.

Sketch 48 - Amy

Meet Amy. A random bunny girl. Don't really have a thing for her or not sure I can use her as a character but we will see. I went through some serious artist block drawing this one.

So today I got paid YAY! Then went and paid the people I needed to pay haha. Also gave Andy his Easter chocolates and got a practice session with a standard vehicle. Which I must say I did fairly well until I 'kangaroo'd' at a busy intersection in town and stalled out. Nerves got to me I guess. Oh well more practice to come I'm sure. Need to get this down pat if I am to survive on English roads. Mind you over there I could chalk it up to driving on the wrong side of the road that I am used to.

So Richard put his new 1 TB hard drive in today. He needs the space for all of his games and stuff on steam. I'm happy for him! When I finally cross the pond I would like to maybe look into getting a decent desktop. I love my Alienware but its getting dated and you can't upgrade them easily like a desktop. Anyways....

I have been getting into some Tpop recently to go along with my mass collection of Jpop and Kpop. Speaking of which my Big Bang CD finally arrived! OMG its so amazing and the case was so cool. But back on track, I really need to learn Taiwanese... I sorta started on my own awhile back but I didn't get too far. I only know like 3 people from Taiwan and we don't keep in touch a lot so it was hard to ask questions and get a good response. Maybe I should pick it up again seeing as I'm not getting far with Chinese at the moment.

Sketch 45 - Mwah!

Ah perspective... thy enemy. It didnt turn out too bad i suppose. So its Rich and I kissing on a walk. Today has been a wonderful day~

First I woke up to my mum telling I actually had to work 6-10 instead of 3-10. Then I finished my book I got for Easter. I LOVE IT!!!!! Kelley Armstrong is such an amazing writer! Cannot wait for the 2nd to come out. For those who don't know what I'm talking about. I received Kelley Armstrong's novel The Gathering for Easter its the first book of the second trilogy in the young adult series The Darkest Powers she is working on. There are a lot of references to the Women of the Otherworld series and the first trilogy in The Gathering and it was awesome to read throughout all the conspiracies and what not. Anyways I then jumped on the computer and started translating my videos and noticed the new SNSD/Girls Generation Japanese song Taxi had the Dance MV out! It's so AMAZING and the girls sound perfect and look drop dead gorgeous. After that I remembered to check my emails and send off a few emails.

After sending off the one to skin candy (who does the ink I use for tattoos) about the white having the same reaction on everyone I use it on they offered to replace it with a new one, which I was shocked but very pleased with. And they answered my email in no word of a lie 5 minutes. Shortly after batting emails back and forth with skin candy I received 2 emails from steam saying they gave me back my account FINALLY. Then at work I got my cash out done early and nearly balanced! but it doesn't end there!

I get home to talk to Richard and the Skype quality was superb and he was amazing. but then I started getting pains and looking at the clock I realize I have to be up in less than 6 hours so off to bed! Goodnight world! Love ya <3

P.S. I wanna give a shout out to my sister, Shelina. It's her 21st birthday today ( the 27th of April). We may not get along at the best of times but still love you. Happy birthday lil sis.

Merona from the game Phantom Brave for the PSP. I just got this game today. Also discovered my PSP has internet radio, so I was listening to the j-pop and k-pop stations. So cool! Was my Easter gift from my father. I also received a white chocolate bunny and the new book from my favorite author Kelley Armstrong, The Gathering. The new book is the start of the second trilogy for her young adult series The Darkest Powers. I loved reading about Chloe, Derek, Simon and the gang in the first trilogy and can't wait to meet the new characters. Need to finish reading Personal Demon first though.

Not much to say about today. Did about 2 hours of dishes ( really need to start keeping up with those at lest every day to second day) and then hung out with my friend Brad and our moms. Met my cousin Kyle who is the brother of my cousin Kelly as mentioned in previous posts. Also went out for dinner at the local restaurant. Not sure the exact culture the food there comes from but I think its either Turkish or Greek. Either way it was the best mushroom Alfredo I have had in a LONG time. Although I will pay for it tonight with my intolerance to dairy.
