Winter love birds

So this is my tutors roommate and his girlfriend from Korea! She is visiting until February. I have had the pleasure of meeting both of them a couple times now. They are so sweet together :3

After lessons we went to a local farmers market in the city by UofA campus. Felt more like a craft sale but still equally awesome. We also met up with another of his friends who plays in the military band. He was playing with his buddies at the market and it was so pretty. It was nice to sight see a bit.

Sorry I haven't posted in so long. Working long hours at my new job and its exhausting. Things are piling up on me and kinda stressing myself out! Need to stop it haha. Other then that I have been making plans to get myself up to schedule and speed with what I want to do versus what I feel I can do. So Regular updates should start happening soon. To be honest probably wont start till after the holidays.... Just to be safe :)

Sketch 63 - tyrannosauruslexxx

British youtuber tyrannosauruslexxx . . . gorgeous lady with a wonderful voice when she does sing. It's a shame she doesn't vlog much anymore because of university. She is such a wonderful person and I really like watching her videos no matter the topic. Most of the time she just talks about random stuff but its still so interesting. I look forward to more videos! . . . please? lol

Not much to say about today except cut my hair (different fringe style) and dyed it a darker auburn. See how this color and style work for me. Should I update my profile pic with a new one? Might have to actually put make-up on for once . . .

Kinda nervous about tomorrow, we start construction tomorrow and it will be my first day flagging. Margaret said she would be there to help me for a bit which helps settle my nerves a tad. Also got some chicken for lunch tomorrow which I am gonna make into a sandwich! NOM NOM.

Sketch 36 - Wash My Back?

#3 of the Emily pictures. She needs a bit of help washing her back. Any takers? I wanted to keep this one as the original pencil sketch that I did. Hope you like it!

So I have been having pelvic pains for a while now and finally decided to go to the doctor about it ... and got a lot of bad news. I have to go for an x-ray and ultrasound. The x-ray is for a possible pelvic fracture which I can only think happened while tobogganing with my niece and nephew when my man visited during the winter holidays. The ultrasound is for possible ovarian cysts and or cancer. So yeah ... blood work and hospital visits soon, possibly tomorrow.

In K-pop news f(x) released their new comeback music video Danger ... or would it be Pinocchio? I will post the link in the Video of the Week tab for your viewing pleasure. I personally LOVE this new video. I'm not a HUGE fan of the group but I do like their style. Its edgy cute and contemporary. Anyways this video kicks ass and I want to share it!

After the doctors I went to the city to get a few things and on the way home I got sushi for my mum and I. The wait for the take-out sushi was about 25-30 mins so I went over to EB games. In Canada. EB games is a small chain game store that is of epic-ness. I am way far behind the times when it comes to console and hand-held gaming. I have a Nintendo lunch box, PS 1 and 2 and a game-boy color (teal) .... I have really wanted a PSP since they were first released. So when I walked in I asked about their used ones. The employee's were awesome and explained that if I waited until thursday for their Easter weekend sale I could get a mint condition WHITE PSP 3000 for $30 with the purchase of 2 used games for $19.99 or higher. I was so happy I had them hold the PSP for me and plan to return! My mum is gonna help me out with the game purchases and get something for her.

Actually the main reason I went to EB games was to find a copy of the PS1 game Legend of Dragoon .... which the company doesn't have in stock in ANY of their stores across Canada. *sad face*

Sketch 1 - The first of many

Welcome to my blog!

First I want to thank my friend Mikaela for choosing my title! I love it. Anyways ... HELLO OUT THERE!!! Haha.

The Picture: Well its the first sketch of my first blog so went with drawing myself blogging... Yes i dye my hair green and I have an Alienware mx17 laptop and a WACOM Intuos 3 tablet for those who were wondering.

Why: I started this blog because like a few people I start things with passion and then fail to finish or continue.... maybe I have ADD? So I chose to start doing a sketch a day and blog about it. The theory behind my madness is that if I want to become a tattoo artist and work on a manga I need to be able to draw every day. Plus having to do it everyday forces me into a habit and therefore seeing my comic come back to life. It will also allow others like yourself to give me criticism on my art (good or bad!) so I can improve and log my improvements over the net. I'm hoping to improve my style, gain confidence, reliability and stability in my art.

I will also post stories or events that happen everyday as a life blog so it wont be all art biased. I play video games and listen to j-pop and k-pop ... although im more of a k-pop fan (BigBang FTW). I like anime and fantasy/horror novels. We will keep it kinda short for tonight so until tomorrow, I bid thee farewell!
