Sketch 75 - My Magic

Felt like drawing my character Purtalic. Really miss my friend MBJ. I have been trying to get a hold of her for a while now. I guess she must be busy. Today was a sort of relaxing day. Company came over and things got a tad lively. Not much to say. In a drawing mood and a gaming mood but with company over its extremely hard to do either.... Not looking forward to my imminent death tomorrow. I have to work 8 hours tomorrow and Sunday. Yesterday I worked 3 hours and was in extreme pain, because they cant just let me work the counter. Its stocking and magazines and bending and just everything to make my side turn into an inferno. So wanted to draw something soothing.

Not sure what I will do for the rest of the night. Have a major headache from the dogs not listening and not in the mood to socialize. Also getting depressed lately. Feel horrible about myself, for things that are happening. Too much thinking and worrying and I am bringing myself down. I have friends in trouble and I don't know how to help them.

OMG I FIXED IT!!!

I'm alive! and I fixed my tablet with some glue, duct tape and love. It works again! I will start up my sketches again on Monday because I wont be home this weekend though I really don't want to go because it will be very depressing for me.

Today is an exciting day however. Its the 2012 Magic the Gathering draft tournament at Bazinga Comics and my sister Kayla is coming back home from Newfoundland with her fiance Cory and their dog Lady. Im SOOOOOOO excited!!! All of this and I can still barely move from the pain which is spreading to the left side, lower back and right thigh now. I have 3 painkillers left and not sure how I'm gonna survive this weekend and week until my surgery. At lest my work is being understanding and considerate.

I have also made some new friends at Bazinga. I wanna give a shout out to Warren (the owner) for being so awesome and cool, Isaac, Ryan, Jameson, Byran, Zack, Matt, and many more that I have yet to remember names to faces (sorry guys!). Its also gotten me closer with old friends I lost contact with; Bradley, Cynthia and Marie. Isaac and I are becoming really close friends, so if you guys hear me mention him a lot you know why haha. Well off to do some more cleaning before the tournament if I can.

Sketch 71 - More Tattoos!

 Had alot of fun doing these. Inside the stars on her hand and the little stars on her wrist (to break apart the names) I used my new invisible UV tattoo ink. At first we didn't think it worked until I brought out my blacklight bulb and holly man it was so cool! I think I might try to give myself a face tattoo with this ink. All in all she says she really loves them and I am proud of them. First time doing writing that small and on a wrist. BTW the names are all of her pets.

Tomorrows sketch will be probably of the lady above. While at her house I saw the most amazing thing. So I will draw that! In other news. My mom has been watching me play around with all these cards (Magic the gathering) and started asking me questions. When I asked if she would like to get her own decks and play she was excited and bought a lot of cards! Lucky her managed to get so many rare cards in random booster packs including the original Tezzereth Plainswalker! So I ended up making her a deck from her cards and play/instructed her on the basics of the game in play . . . she BEAT the shit outta me lol. VERY proud of her and tonight she asked to play me again and seemed upset that we haven't played for a few nights!

Some bad news. I tried to run my computer after work today and it just lagged horribly. I check it out and find I only have 2GB of hard drive space left lol. So yeah, ran out and got a 500gb portable HD. Sadly, my computer atm is only 250GB and this back-up is 500GB lol . . . oh well.

Well I am off to bed because I have work tomorrow and mom wants to play a game before I have to go to work. Goodnight world! Love ya <3

OMG I am still alive!!!

Sorry everyone for my absence! I have been so stressed lately due to everything catching up with me. Stuff is happening at work, ended up killing my laptop keyboard . . . you have no idea how hard it is to type right now. My space bar, C, V and ALT keys are pretty much stuck because I spilled a form of chinese sweet and sour sauce on them and yeah . . . very upset about that.

Updates will start again tomorrow! I got alot of work done on the wallpaper I promised everyone and some commissions yesturday so things should start to move along. On another note, I got back into playing Magic the Gathering thanks to Brad. I had to re-make my decks and he came over to help me play test them . . . and kicked my ass in both games using my decks! LOL oh well. Second game he just got lucky with his first had. Had a low cost poison creature at the start and ended me before I could get more then my wall (0/6 defensive) and an artifact creature cat out near the end. So yeah need more practice. That and I amused to playing 3+ so thats how I build my decks. Need to re-work for one-on-one.

Sketch 56 - Ray William Johnson

So anyone know of Ray William Johnson ? I had a request to do my favorite youtube vloggers so I decided to start with the very first one I ever started to follow! His comedy vlog =3 is frikken hilarious and fell in love just after a few episodes. It can be a tad controversial at times, so if you are easily offended this may not be for you. If he ends up seeing this I hope he likes it. I'm proud to be one of your many fans!

So new video for today. Actually I am going to post two videos because I can't deside. Aziatix released their new single, Cold, and I am addicted already. Aziatix is a group of Korean music artists who came to the USA to study and formed a group. So far they are awesome and climbing the charts fairly quick! They sing in English so for those who don't like k-pop here is a treat for you.

The second video is Jay Park's new single Tonight. I love this song. Been playing it over and over. My cousin Alex might kill me for this but I think Jay looks a LOT like him. Or the other way around. Either way they look similar. Alex is like the buffer, less skrawny version. However, I'm sure Alex isn't a B-Boy like Jay. Much love!

Today has been interesting. Managed to spend a good $400.00 today. More good and bad news from the doctors. Gave a friend some tattoo pointers. Got a few new awesome Magic the gathering cards from a visit from Brad and the new comic shop in Leduc (where the DQ used to be behind the PetroCan). Went to see my trainer and caught up abit. Then got 2 new books at Chapters for almost free from my rewards card. Just had to pay the tax lol. Speaking of taxes.... I have plans to get mine out soon! Hopefully I get a nice return like my sister.

Sketch 15 - Diamond Frost Smile

Nynde. The daughter of Purtalic and Pyro, making her Princess of the Northern races. A mix of royal dragon-ling blood and demon, she is light of her people and the nightmare of her foes. Her demon blood gives her a temper unlike any other. After her first love dies, she finds refuge in a heart similar to her own.

Ah Nynde. My daughter in the story. When I had a fan-art contest, she was the most popular pic. Speaking of fan-art I should find it all and post it. Maybe? Got to the gym today and they said I had a balance on my account, I had a feeling it would come up because of my card being a visa debit and Canadian businesses aren't up to the technology yet. So Im expecting about $50 and it was $80 .... my jaw dropped. So after some negotiating its down to $40 so I am happy.

Got a lot done today, surprising. More work on the commission done, sketch done early, gym, chapter 1 almost finished and job hunting. So tonight while I wait for man to get home, I am gonna play minecraft! Perfect wind-down game seeing as steam still hasn't gotten back to me on my account yet (its been 2 months.... wtf is going on!) Or might feel up to playing Civ 5. I hate war games but I LOVE civilization games. Blame my ex-husband and father-in-law for that :P many nights playing civ revolution on the x-box. Which makes me think of our nights playing magic the gathering and other tabletop games. Oh the arguments and the tears that were shed. Those were some good times.

We were doing so well with the donations for Japan and then it stopped. I guess people don't wanna hear me sing haha (don't blame you). Anyways ttfn world~
