Drew a picture of my Korean tutor and my Boyfriend :D I made my tutor alittle taller but yeah haha. this was fun to do. And had an awesome day today.

First was our lessons where I think I didn't do too bad. I feel great about my knowledge and then I'm put on the spot and my head goes blank ^-^; I think I should try to think the greetings in my head when I am meeting new people etc. in my daily life to help get used to them.

My tattoo on Linda was a lot of fun! She is such a strong woman to not only sit on a table for 3 hours so I can tattoo her foot but to also go through the pain of having a tattoo on her foot! I'm digg'n her new hair cut and I think it suits her well and damn she lost weight and looks sexy! Love ya girl! <3

After had dinner with my family and had my cousin come by too for a surprise. It was awesome to see my ferret Douglas again ... I miss him dearly. And on the way home the fog was so bad I was driving like 80km/hr the whole way ! (normal 100-110) We are expected to have a snow storm at some point ... I hope it waits till after my first day at my new day job tomorrow. Well thats it for tonight.

Diane re-do!

Well since Fai's was at a table I figured I should do hers at one too! lol I like this one much better. :3 I hope she does too! I have been making a lot of new contacts and friends and it's great. A lot of them are speaking to me in Korean which is helping :D

Looking forward to starting my new job tomorrow. Its really close to my house and the manager I will have is really nice and straight forward. I think we will get along well. She believes in respect for employees and management so plus plus. I need to keep this short because I have more studying to do before tomorrow.

I am also very excited to be giving my very very close friend Linda a tattoo tomorrow. She's like a sister to me and I can give her son Ethan his birthday gift finally! haha. Anyways.

As you all know, I haven't been doing so well medically. Things got really scary for me, however I am not out of the burning landscape yet. I want to thank everyone for their help in buying my art. So I'm not sure who out there is addicted to energy drinks and juice like I am but they can get so expensive, make your heart race or taste just plain nasty right? For me, I used to be big into Rockstar for the taste but they would make my heart race like crazy, so I got into 5 hour energy. Pardon my language but that stuff tastes like essence of ass after a jail community shower. Plus the prices on them are enough to make a person homeless, not to mention the health risks. And its hard to find health juice that has no added sugar and tastes like it should. Until I got my hands on XS and Nutrilite. Cheaper, better for you, shipped to your house and so many different flavors (more flavors in the USA unfortunately for everyone else)! Check it out for yourself~ Best Stuff In The World

And last but not least, I have been getting into the free to play RTS MMO League of Legends. It isn't usually my cup of tea but its proving to be fun regardless of how badly I get my ass kicked by the cocky, self absorbed, asshat community members. :P

Well then~

Wow things have been crazy lately. My surgeries didn't happen. But looking into some specialists that will actually try to help me. I have some pictures to upload from my tattooing. Gonna try getting back into the everyday blog thing. It was good for me and I am disappointed in myself for not keeping up with it. So hoping to start again soon.

The whole point of me doing the sketch blog was to help me get used to drawing everyday for when I become a tattoo artist and or work full time as a mangaka. Anyways lets get to the good stuff then shall we!

   Ok so the first is to prove that its straight and the second is to show whats actually written: 'I am the Emperors dog at Kew, pray tell me sir, whose dog are you?' The writing is fairly small and I had a good time doing it! Curtis sat well for it.

 This tattoo was alot of fun to do! Its for her daughter. Its not going to be colored but I think it looks good in black and white. It was her first and she was one of my best customers to this day. I look forward to any touch-ups or new ones from her.

 This was another for a daughter. Actually both women are friends. There is no black in this tattoo. The lines are a dark navy blue. Definitely good practice for coloring in. Apparently the lines hurt her more the coloring. Most find it opposite but meh. She was fun to tattoo as well.

I have several more tattoos lined up to be done when I finish my work at the county by then I am hoping to start saving for a really nice machine or some more colors of ink or maybe a thermal machine to save me some time with the stencils lol.

Alot has happened recently in my life. Things weren't working out with Richard and I so we are now just best friends. Reminds me of the Wonder Girls song~ Although I do have my visa to move to England I plan on using the money I had saved to further my tattooing career, emergency funding for my new car named Sousuke and most likely move into my own place (with some roomates to help with rent) in Leduc or Edmonton. Its amazing the amount of self confidence I am felling now. Doing things for myself and working hard for no one but me. Such an amazing feeling. Just wished I could have had that operation so I could go back to the gym and make myself feel good on the outside as well. Although the lower stress amount has made me lose some weight I still dont feel comfortable in my own skin. I know I will never be a thin model but I don't want to be. I know I would be happiest as a toned curvy girl so thats my aim. Looking at a size 10-12 ... im a 15-16 atm so Im getting there!

Dates!

Alright some good news! Got a call from the doctors and my new surgery date is September 27! Woo. Still its quite some time for me not to be working as much as I need too. Also Isaac and I made up and I was invited to his birthday party/dinner thing. SOOOO excited. I also may be seeing Jess this weekend. Sucky part is having to work when I shouldn't be. The extra money would be nice to hang out with peeps though.

Its also Richards 31st birthday on the 20th of August. I will have to work but I hope to spend some time with him on his day. Which is gonna be hectic because Isaac's 24th Birthday is the 19th of August.... so late night with him then work in the afternoon then late night with Richard and uhhg. I also have to get the window finished painted at work for the breast cancer pinkest town thingy. SO BUSY. Also have so many tattoos to do and finish (shout out to Brad, Lindi and Jessica). And paintings to finish and art and my blog sketches and manga im working on and my roleplay with Isaac and some tattoo art and *dies. So much to do .... Well before and recovery time after the surgery should give me some time to finish most of it. Anyways need to do some translating and editing and bed for work tomorrow which is earlier then normal for me.

P.S. The Calmar Esso now has Pocky! The chocolate an strawberry ones. So excited. If they sell well they will continue to get them. This is good news for all the Japanese snack fans in Calmar.

Sketch 78 - TATTOOS!!

Sooo been so busy with art and tattoos that I haven't been able to post. But now I have 4 to show (2 unfinished). So here we go!

First up is the tattoo on my sister Kayla. Its 2 hearts on her wrist for her grandma and her. Her grandma has passed on and she wanted a reminder. I has happy to take her tattoo virginity for such a lovely tattoo.

This is a similar rose tattoo to the two yellow ones I did on the mother daughter pair. The lady loved it so much that I changed it up a bit and made it a different color. She surprisingly sat really still for it being on the foot. I was impressed and the tip was nice too. Thank you!

This one isn't finished yet but we got the outline done. Its her daughters name down her spine. We are hoping for maybe thursday to finish it. It will be colorful and pretty. I cant wait to finish this one. Also a tattoo virgin that I've taken!

And I just finished the line work for this one today. Holly hanners this girl jumped all over the place. The lines aren't too bad considering so Im proud of it. Cant wait to see it finished. It will be filled in black and the red stars are actually the UV invisible ink. For some reason the UV ink likes to make everyone bleed more then usual. Oh well. We are both very happy and this was again another virgin tattoo!

So yes I hope you all enjoyed those. Gonna post the other painting I've been working on soon. Hoping it will be finished tomorrow before I go out with Curtis in the evening. So off to get my pills with the extra money I got.

Sketch 77 - Hot Steps

Been doing some painting recently and its so nice to do some traditional work again. Although the sad part is I don't get to keep the originals *cry*. So this one is a picture of Isaac's sister Emily. She doesn't dance anymore so I was commissioned to do a picture for her. I absolutely love how it turned out. I am impressed with myself. So now I have to finish Warren's birthday picture and then get some tattoo sketches drawn up for Saturday, possibly doing 3-4 on Saturday and the window painting that I didn't do today to do tomorrow at the Esso. SOOO BUSY. But its nice because its not stuff thats hurting my side too much.

Also I did Kayla's tattoo today instead. We were messing about and LA Ink came on TV and I was all like ... "lets do yours. RIGHT NOW :D" and shes all like "OMG ok!" and yeah. She squealed she was so happy haha. So after this crazy weekend I still have to work the holiday Monday. At least they were nice enough to pay us a day early so I can put my check in the bank and finally pay my bills. Been stretching my money out as long as I can because I cant work as much from my pain. Anyways should probably get more painting done.

Sketch 76 - Bear

Calico Cat, Bear. I have a customer that wants her deceased Calico named Bear tattoo'd. I haven't done a realism animal yet. Kinda nervous seeing as animals aren't my strong point and it will be in color. But it will be fairly small. I just hope it will turn out for the customer!

Interesting last few days. The pains in my side are getting more and more unbearable. I hope the new day for my surgery will come soon! Tired of all these tests. In a big art mood right now So I am taking the opportunity to fully use it! I will be using my spare needles tomorrow to tattoo my sister Kayla on her wrist. Super excited for that. I also have several interested in Commissions not to mention the ones I have to still finish! Now I also have to paint the windows at work with a design I made all in Pink! Its for the 'Pinkest City in Alberta' contest for breast cancer. So yeah wow hectic! Even though I wont be doing much physically I am super swamped for time. Its nice to be busy again though and the extra little trickles of income really help when I can't work full time...barely even part-time. Anyways! Enough chit-chat, off to continue drawing!

Sketch 71 - More Tattoos!

 Had alot of fun doing these. Inside the stars on her hand and the little stars on her wrist (to break apart the names) I used my new invisible UV tattoo ink. At first we didn't think it worked until I brought out my blacklight bulb and holly man it was so cool! I think I might try to give myself a face tattoo with this ink. All in all she says she really loves them and I am proud of them. First time doing writing that small and on a wrist. BTW the names are all of her pets.

Tomorrows sketch will be probably of the lady above. While at her house I saw the most amazing thing. So I will draw that! In other news. My mom has been watching me play around with all these cards (Magic the gathering) and started asking me questions. When I asked if she would like to get her own decks and play she was excited and bought a lot of cards! Lucky her managed to get so many rare cards in random booster packs including the original Tezzereth Plainswalker! So I ended up making her a deck from her cards and play/instructed her on the basics of the game in play . . . she BEAT the shit outta me lol. VERY proud of her and tonight she asked to play me again and seemed upset that we haven't played for a few nights!

Some bad news. I tried to run my computer after work today and it just lagged horribly. I check it out and find I only have 2GB of hard drive space left lol. So yeah, ran out and got a 500gb portable HD. Sadly, my computer atm is only 250GB and this back-up is 500GB lol . . . oh well.

Sketch 70 - Magic and Books

Looking forward to playing Magic today. Got the day off so going to use that. I also need to pick up my new UV invisible ink I ordered. Looking forward to it. Now to get a black light so I can see what I'm tattooing lol. Also plan on giving a tattoo at some point today. Uhhg busy day again.

Also wanted to mention I got an e-book reader. The Chapters Kobo. I love it. It came pre-loaded with 100 classics that I intend to read at some point. I have about 130 books/manga on it atm so YAY.

Hmm not much else. Not sure when I will be home and how tired I will be tonight so I am posting now and if anything interesting happens I will talk about it in tomorrows blog.

Sketch 70 - Tattoos Complete!

Cleaning all day yesterday and this morning to prepare for doing these two tattoos! Mother and daughter yellow rose tattoos. I'm quite impressed with myself. This was Shelby's (in pink) first tattoo and did well for it being on the top of her foot! Although the jumping made me mess up a bit, it turned out great considering. Will need some touch ups later down the road to fix the line and the color if needed.

Thought I would post these as my sketch for today because I basically spent the whole day doing the tattoos. Hope you enjoy! I know Cheryl (black) and Shelby (pink) loved them. Anyways I need to be up early tomorrow to take my mom to work so I can take the car for tomorrow because my ride will be going the the doctors. So . . .

Sketch(s) 69 - Sushi, Rain and Ink!

This past few days has been crazy. I had some yummy sushi and its been raining a lot and so cold to the point the rain turned to snow! We are in June now! Finally get the weekend off and I have been spending it cleaning and getting ready for tomorrow because I am Going to be tattooing some friends with that yellow rose. They want this rose on the top of their foot . . . I warned them it was gonna hurt like hell but they still wanna go for it! Gives me more practice with jumping canvas *wink. Anyways need to go to bed so I can be up early to finish cleaning and disinfecting the place :P

Sketch 45 - Mwah!

Ah perspective... thy enemy. It didnt turn out too bad i suppose. So its Rich and I kissing on a walk. Today has been a wonderful day~

First I woke up to my mum telling I actually had to work 6-10 instead of 3-10. Then I finished my book I got for Easter. I LOVE IT!!!!! Kelley Armstrong is such an amazing writer! Cannot wait for the 2nd to come out. For those who don't know what I'm talking about. I received Kelley Armstrong's novel The Gathering for Easter its the first book of the second trilogy in the young adult series The Darkest Powers she is working on. There are a lot of references to the Women of the Otherworld series and the first trilogy in The Gathering and it was awesome to read throughout all the conspiracies and what not. Anyways I then jumped on the computer and started translating my videos and noticed the new SNSD/Girls Generation Japanese song Taxi had the Dance MV out! It's so AMAZING and the girls sound perfect and look drop dead gorgeous. After that I remembered to check my emails and send off a few emails.

After sending off the one to skin candy (who does the ink I use for tattoos) about the white having the same reaction on everyone I use it on they offered to replace it with a new one, which I was shocked but very pleased with. And they answered my email in no word of a lie 5 minutes. Shortly after batting emails back and forth with skin candy I received 2 emails from steam saying they gave me back my account FINALLY. Then at work I got my cash out done early and nearly balanced! but it doesn't end there!

I get home to talk to Richard and the Skype quality was superb and he was amazing. but then I started getting pains and looking at the clock I realize I have to be up in less than 6 hours so off to bed! Goodnight world! Love ya <3

Sketch 38 - Koi of Wealth

So today has been a LONG day so I took a picture of a koi fish I did. Part of my tattoo sketches. Hopefully tomorrow I can draw something. I didn't get off work until an hour after I was suppose to because we were busy.

I have been planning on coloring my hair yellow and pink for Easter, but you know I think I should let it have a break for awhile and stick to my natural hair color for awhile. Ive been bleaching and coloring different funky colors for about a year now. I think its time to go au naturel ~ well as natural As i can dye it seeing as its bleach blonde white at the moment.

Tomorrow I have my ultrasound and x-rays to find out what I have. I can literally say I'm kinda nervous to find out. But I will be getting my PSP right after so it wont be too bad. Although having the PSP before I go would be nice for any time I need to wait. Canadian free health care is nice but the time to wait can be annoying. Oh well, small annoyance for no cost.

Toothless from DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon. I know the proportions are all wrong and stuff but Im sick and tired and its a sketch blog! lol I think it turned out cute! I love this movie and got to watch it and Tangled again today because I was babysitting for a friend of the family.

So today I found out I have a job! Courtesy of my mum. So that exciting! Also as soon as I get said news EVERYONE who has been planning on getting tattoos from me has texted me today. Murphy's Law I suppose. I also found out that they are building a life-sized Cat Bus from My Neighbor Totoro! I so wanna see that sooooo bad.

Been a hectic day today. Full of pain. Was tattooing this morning but had to stop for a few hours while I went to the gym where my trainer kicked my ass again. Then coming home to finish the tattoo. So a simple picture today. Just kinda did a cherry blossom. tried to make it look sorta realistic but failed. I was running out of time today so I wanted something easy and didn't need a lot of concentration.

Been laughing my ass off though, found this site DYAC that is AMAZINGLY funny. I started to cry they were so funny. But it made my migraine and stomach ache worse so I have stopped for today. Off to bed so I can feel better.

Sketch 18 - Purrrfectly Shocking

Misha Dallare. The anthro cat of our adventures party. She is emotionally secluded to anyone outside her trust circle. If you manage to get in the circle you are in it for life, however to get in may cost you one. A proud nomad, she is expert in the art of throwing and small weapons. Her element is electricity, however, she can only imbue her weapons with said element. With a secluded heart is there room for a love outside her family?

Sooooo much fun drawing Misha its unreal. Something about the sexy cat girls is just fun to draw....maybe its all those curves! There is a lot of debate floating around about what type of cat she is based from. Cougar? Jaguar? Havana Brown? Until her creator gets back to me we will leave it undecided (I prefer the cougar myself ... goes with the outfit and personality). Shes kind of like a fierce, cute amazon cat woman, no?

So much going on today, yet I did hardly anything. With how warm its been lately all the snow is melting far too fast and the roads and alleys are a slushy, muddy mess. Had to help my mom get out of the garage this afternoon because she got herself into a rut just outside the doors. And with three playful dogs our floors are a muddy mess. The sun is a nice change though ~

I also found out that a semi-local tattoo business called the Camrose Health Department on me for doing tattoos out of my house. Well not sure what a health department in a city 4-5 hours away is really gonna do to a person that has only done tattoos on 3 other people beside herself. And the fact they were volunteers and I didn't charge. Plus I use all sterile disposables and proper cleaning methods with a sterilizer on the way. So all I have to say to that is if they choose to come for me... BRING IT! I think the artist is just jelous because I do better tattoos then him with his 20+ years experience. (conceited ... maybe, but if you've seen the work he's done versus mine you might agree!) And I am in no way saying mine are amazing, I'm still learning after all and have only done 6. Very happy my friend informed me right away, at least now I can get all the papers in order. Oh well.

Sketch 6 - Hold Me Goodnight

No color post today as it was a VERY long day. I had a request to do a dragon. I used to be good at dragons... not as good as MBJ but they weren't too shabby. However I kinda just went with the flow and an elf showed up there and yeah... thats what came out! Dragon looks horrible elf is got wonky proportions but hey its a 'sketch' blog. I love dragons and elves and fantasy stuff. Its amazing to think if this stuff really is real, hidden among the drabs of our reality. That's what I love about imagination. What's the say that WE are the fantasy to these mystical beings and creatures? Alternate universes, multiplications of galaxy's with life that we will never see! I swear I'm not crazy and I am proud to still have an open mind and an active imagination.

I tested the tattoo machines I bought today. The rotary machines are a lot quieter to the normal ones. So I hope it will help with some customers who are a little tensed after hearing the machine start up. Also I went to go get contacts and my eye prescription renewed only to find out the doctor is only in on Wednesday. Seriously....one day a week? How do they stay in business?On another note ... my separated husband and I will have our 3 year wedding anniversary tomorrow.... weird timbit for you.

Ah sugar.... timbits... uhhhg *drool* how I miss thee~ My trainer started me on a no sugar diet... it sucks and for those not in Canada, Timbits are doughnut balls made from the holes in doughnuts and are from the Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons. Sketch 5 - Bubbles!

So want a bath! Still might have one. Been a rough week and I am so sore!

Some reason I find it hard to 'sketch' in CS3.... they usually come out looking fairly refined. I need to find a new sketch book so im not tempted to spend 1-2 hours coloring haha. Although I guess the color is good for my fans? Yes? No?  Hopefully this doesn't offend anyone, nothing is shown. Kinda wanted to do something sexy but cute and PG-13 for a bath so yeah. ENJOY!

For someone like me who likes sweets this whole no sugar thing is so hard. I'm not even allowed cheese! And I am a BIG cheese fan. I will succeed! Tired of being the 'fat girl' so to speak.

I finally got my new Rotary machines and they are amazing. Can't wait to tattoo someone with them. Uhg my life is crazy atm. Need to organize my time abit better I think. Anyways, I hope whomever is reading this is happy and well.
